Colouring the Senses is an immersive creative workshop that invites children to translate sound, touch, taste, and emotion into visual art. Rather than focusing on artistic ability, the workshop celebrates curiosity, perception, and the many different ways we experience the world.

Inspired by research in multi-sensory learning and creative thinking, the workshop encourages participants to make connections between their senses, emotions, memories, and imagination. Rather than focusing on artistic ability, the emphasis is placed on curiosity, exploration, and celebrating each participant’s individual perspective.

Participants leave the workshop with a collection of sensory studies, a final artwork inspired by their experiences, and a deeper appreciation for the many different ways people see, feel, and express the world around them.
